Almost forgot this one, too:

"The president is on the line. He wants to throw nukes at the earthquake/hurricane/tornado/whatever."
"Television is an invention that permits you to be entertained in your living room by people you wouldn't have in your home."
(David Frost)

It kinda was done earlier by Burgo I think.

The line was "I'm not going to make but you still can."

Different words, same meaning, same annoyance.

Now it's time to sing the nation anthem IN AMERICA!!!

Bandit Keith from Yu-Gi-Oh the Abridged Series (episode 12)

Susan

this one makes me gag everytime i hear it....

"DON'T YOU DIE ON ME!"

Mofo Rising

"You've never given up on anything in your life!  Now fight!  FIGHT!"

-or-

-or-

"This same may very well be what killed the dinosaurs."

-or-

"Don't stop!  I can contain the reaction!"

-or-

"So there's a comet -- big  deal.  It'll burn up in our atmosphere and what's ever left will  be no bigger than a chihuahua's head."

Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

I think these have already been done, but:

Hang on! We'll get to you!
Q: Are you sure this is going to work? A: Let's hope so.

The world runs off money, even for those with a warped sense of what the world is.

How about this?

"We're all going to die/It's hopeless *pause* Unless......(tells risky plan that actually does work in the end)"

Now it's time to sing the nation anthem IN AMERICA!!!

Bandit Keith from Yu-Gi-Oh the Abridged Series (episode 12)

Dr. Whom

Senior official/Mayor/General: We can't evacuate the city, not in the middle of (insert festival here)

Cut to scene of festivities
"Once you get past a certain threshold, everyone's problems are the same: fortifying your island and hiding the heat signature from your fusion reactor."

Wenn ist das Nunstück git und Slotermeyer? Ja! ... Beiherhund das Oder die Flipperwaldt gersput.

I guess it's funny, but all the disaster movie cliches are ones which I actually enjoy in crappy disaster flick... sure you groan and complain about them, but in the end, I'm glad they're there if not for the fact that I can laugh about how tacky and lame the lines are...  Its really the only way to get enjoyment out of crappy disaster films [and yes, even good ones]

Just Plain Horse

My favorite always was, "We have only one chance.... (followed by a completely insane, illogical, and totally impossible solution, which)...just might work." and inevitably it does, even if it's something like firing a radioactive peanut butter sandwich into the sun to turn back time in order to prevent said disaster from ever happening.

Hey, I said that one Just Plain Horse, except you worded differently.

Now it's time to sing the nation anthem IN AMERICA!!!

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

The Burgomaster

Here are a few more:

"You must be insane!"

"Here . . . take this locket . . . for luck."

"Can't you see there's nothing we can do for her now?"

"Damn you, Josey Wales."  (Oops . . . that one slipped in by accident).
"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

I wish! That at least would add some excitement.
