A Spanish invisible dinosaur, a Ray Harryhausen masterpiece, a so-so Mel Brooks movie,  an early Cronenberg, and an Ed Wood cross dressing flick.  What a mix.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

HIGH ANXIETY is one of my favorite comedies. I really get a kick out of Cloris Leachman and Harvey Korman. The guy who gets half his mustache taken off, The guy who acts like a dog, and the boxing bout when Korman comes in an refferees. Also the chauffer "I got it ....I got it....I ain't got it"

EARHT VS THE FLYING SAUCERS is a must see for everyone on this board. A Sci Fi alien classic. Great stuff.

Never forget renting SHIVERS on an old VHS tape from a local video store. Wasn't expecting much, but was nicely surprised by this one. Really enjoyed it. Barbara Steele even has a part in it. I don't think you'll be dissappointed.

GLEN OR GLENDA is a must see for all ED WOOD fans.

THE SOUND OF HORROR you get an invisible dinosaur. Talk about low budget. It lends to the name of the film I suppose, because all you get is the sound of the dinosaur.  It was actually good in some ways. I especially liked the intro to this film. It reminds me a little bit of the film INVISIBLE INVADERS.

I like Shivers, but haven't seen the sequels, are they any good?

High Anxiety....I think I caught this one years back on cable.

Is that the Mel Brooks flick where he is working at a mental asylum?

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

I didn't know SHIVERS had sequels.

Scott

That's the film Skaboi. HIGH ANXIETY is a parady of Hitchcock films directed and starring Mel Brooks.

Scott,

Thanks.  I'll check it out again sometime.  I think I caught it on TCM or AMC or such years back.

Just thought I'd mention I was thinking of the Scanners sequels, and to the best of my knowledge there is no Shivers sequels... Silly me...

I love the SADIST.  Arch Hall is an awesome psychopath.  Lots of unexpected plot turns in this one. It may be the most nail-bitingly intense film I've seen aside from DUEL, it just never lets up.
