OCEANS ELEVEN (1960) - This is the original movie starring the rat pack Sinatra, Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr.. It's not a bad film and has some style and some good moments. Overall an average film with some big names. The best part of the whole thing is the Las Vegas location from 1960 which is quite a change and the packs lingo of the time period. The movie is about a bank hiest by some old military buddies. They do this by blowing up the power lines to the town and walking out with the cash from all the casinos. Another part I liked was the way they brought the team together as they told their story of why they wanted to be part of the operation. It was a neat concept for a film and I might even try to see the newer versions that came out lately.

Boy Scott you're keeping TCM busy this month.

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

This is a great movie!! The remake was ok, but just not the same without the RATPACK. I think this has to be one of my favorite movies.

Crazy people have more fun.

It's kinda like both THE MAGNIFICIENT SEVEN and THE DIRTY DOZEN only with the Ratpack thrown in.
