That was pretty cool.
I saw something about that house on ABC news but it didn't show the whole thing like that video did.

I heard that guy won a major prize for that setup.
Thousands of dollars I think.

Apparently if you pass by this guy's house when it's doing the light thing, you can listen to it play and watch the show in sync because the guy hooked up an FM transmitter for shows.

He said that he's been wanting to do this sort of thing for years, but the cost for the software has been too much (like thousands of dollars), but this year he's done it thanks to the good people at Open Source.
