Usually i tend towards the more cheesier of films especially since most of the new horror movies are just plain horrible (if anyone has seen Drive-Thru they understand where i'm coming from, but lately i sat down at my computer to watch something "decent". So has anyone else seen Catacombs? its playing on fearnet.com and i thought it was pretty great. the main character is a bit over the top, she screams alot in other words but if you have nothing else to do... you may wanna check it out...
Society, exactly as it now exists is the ultimate expression of sadomasochism in action.
-boyd rice-
On the screen, there\\\'s a death and the rustle of cloth; and a sickly voice calling me handsome...
-Nick Cave-

I caught this a few months ago, and was surprised. I was expecting one of the usual horny stupid teens get killed and deserve it type of thing, but it was good, and, dare I say it, actually scary in some parts. As someone else stated, it isnt prone to those lapses in logic that you find in normal slasher flicks.

Huh, I must be wrong about this movie, it would seem; i tried watching it on FearNet onDemand and the opening was a rave party in the catacombs. This turned me away from it almost immediately, as did the snarky people at the beginning who were supposed to be French. It's actually scary? I'd have never guessed. I'll have to try it again; watching a party-teens-killed-by-guy movie has gotten pretty tough for me, mainly because I can't stand any of the characters enough to care that they've been killed. I know, that's the point, but it isn't an excuse to make them *this sentence censored for content*, right?

Related to Drive-Thru: best b-killer flick I've seen in a long time, the clown was awesome (what a mask!) and I actually had concern for the characters because they despised the "generic" teens in the film as much as I did :bouncegiggle:
