Whilst digging up a tree in the back yard!  :bouncegiggle:  :tongueout:

First I found the address for "Stomp Tokyo" in "The Radio Times Book Of Science Fiction" in 2002. . Later, I clicked on a link within one of their reviews and found the review for "Krull" and went into the reviews index. I barely noticed the forum until circa 2006 when I became a lurker and more recently a (barely) contributing member.

I found this site way back in the year 2000.
I was working at my old job were they allowed internet surfing.
To tell you the truth, I forget how I actually stumbled across this site.  I have an excellent memory but for some reason, how I found this place eludes me.  It wasn't a Google search because I don't think Google existed back then.  All I remember is that I found it while at work.
(that's gonna bug me...not remembering how I found this site)

Anyway, I started reading the reviews and then joined the forum immediately thereafter.
The rest is history!

Hard to believe I've been hanging around here and annoying the p**s out of Andrew & everybody else for 8 years!

Wow, almost the same story as me! 8 years ago, internet-friendly job, killing time, read reviews, can't remember exactly how you started, etc.

I was looking for a review of the original Dawn Of The Dead and bumped into this site. I was reading the reviews for a about a month or two and decided to join the forum.

Or is that the truth?

I actually found it when I needed help fighting C.H.U.D. here in NYC. Worst than roaches.

Searched something along the lines of "B Movie Lists". Bam, found myself here. I rather enjoy it

I found it very soon after we got our first "good" computer -- one with the internet -- back at the end of 1998/beginning of 1999.  I know I was looking specifically for everything/anything on Plan 9.
I too went to "Stomp Tokyo" at first, but kept coming back here because everyone is so dang chatty & interesting -- Jeez/10 years --
Somehow, somewhere along the way, I lost my standing & had to re-enter everything.  I think when we changed computers.  So that number of posts at "989" or whatever it is now, should really be at least doubled.
peter johnson/denny i've been here longer than that!!
I have no idea what this means.
