This is similiar to my killer ocotpus, shark, and ant topic, but the focus is on bats.  How many killer bat movies are out there?  To save some time and to avoid anyone try to make a bad joke, do not mention The Bat (any verison and its sequel) or the Batman movie franchise.

I know of the 1999 film called Bats with Lou Diamond Philips, but how many others are out there?

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

That was the one I was thinking of, not a bad flick at all.

Bats from 1999 has a TV sequel called Bats: Human Harvest
There's also a TV movie from 2005 called Vampire Bats
Killer Bats from 1942

I remember the ad campaign for "Bats".  It had this rock song with this guy saying.  "...the bats are gonna get ya!  Bats! Bats! Bats!  They're gonna suck ya dry!"

Not sure if The Bat People (1974) counts, as it's a guy transformed into a man-bat.
One of the deaths in The Abominable Dr. Phibes (1971) involves bats.
Chris Sarandon transformed into a bat in Fright Night (1985).

Chosen Survivors (1974) has people in an underground bomb shelter type place being terrorized by bats.

Does Vampire Movies count?

The only part I'd like in The Lost Boys (1987) is when the vampires were sleeping upside down like bats.

Hmmm... speaking of bats, vampires and lost boys... Does Batman count? (hehe)

Ok... Fangs (2001)... I'm assuming the reason there isnt many movies on "bats" is because we have a ton of Vampires and Batman movies... :)

I like more exotic tipes of animals in horror movies. Something like Slugs, Piranha, Frogs, Blood Monkey, Killer Shrews, something that doesn't appear in any other movies.

I remember seeing that on the SyFy Channel.  It actually wasn't too terrible.
