Saw this yesterday.  Doesn't look half bad to be honest although my heart will always belong to the original.

If you want to make God of War the movie-make God of Warthe movie.

Oh, why am I complaining?  I'll still see it opening day.  And it does look kind of cool.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

I have some faith in Legendary, but I still feel like this could be more like Crash of the Titans.

That trailer's style is so inappropriate for the subject matter.  I mean, it's very good editing, but yeesh. 

Also, the slow mo pose where they jump in the air while their sword is pointing down to the right (from our POV) is SOOOOOO over-used.

Well if you really think of it God of War ripped off Clash of the Titans first. I still think this movie is going to rock, although i've been let down before. I love watching this trailer but "Titans will clash" is pretty lame.

In God of War 2, you fight Perseus, and they have him being played by Harry Hamlin..

Anyway, I think this movie looks pretty awesome, even though the plot is different.. Something about Hades trying to take over Olympus or something..  Whatever, I'll see it..

Really?  That's a bad sign.  I find it pretty irritating when they try to put modern Christian concepts into the Greek religion, ala the Disney Hercules.  If they were both human, in the original myths I'd say most would consider Hades a better person.

I think it looks very cool but it lost points for me when I discovered that the tag was "Titans will clash."  :lookingup:

Fun Fact - Venomx had a Clash of the Titans lunch box back in the early 80's.
