A while ago one of my friends told me about this movie and asked if I would be down to watch it. Not knowing what I was getting into, I naively agreed. On the following day, I arrived at the guy's house, we fired up the ol' computer and started watching.

Within thirty seconds I was wincing. In spite of the initial pain I soldiered on and hoped to find some enjoyment out of this movie. This bad...bad movie.

Within a minute I was baffled by how awful the acting and dialogue were. Just what the hell were the people who wrote the script thinking?? Who looked over the finished script and said: "Yeah, this sounds like it has potential"?? Who, damn it, WHO???!!!

After five minutes I finally gave up. Usually it takes about half an hour to forty five minutes for me to decide to continue watching a b-flick. Never before has a movie subdued me in that length of time. E-V-E-R.

Has anyone on this forum seen this movie? Consider yourself lucky if you haven't, your sanity will thank you. If you did see it, how long did it take before you destroyed the t.v.?

I'm on a quest to see all the "Massacre" movies. This one's on my list, along with Nailgun Massacre. Thanks for the "heads up" DWV. I'll proceed with caution.

I've heard this movie was bad but it's one of those that I've just never got around to trying out.

I own the DVD. It's sort of like Home Alone with a Fargo twist and NOT some gruesome splatter flick.
This was shot by amateurs on video at their own house. There was no script approval needed
Woodchipper Massacre can be fun in a private home video kind of way, plus it's an interesting document of it's time - insight in rural living back in 1988  :teddyr:

I have heard about this one. I recall there were alot of these campy 80s films with the word "massacre" in the title. The Slumber Party Massacre comes to mind.

Check out the "Massacre" in the title thread. Some good ones and some terrible ones, but all are fun!

How gory is it?
Since this is not a horror movie, or even a horror comedy, there is very little blood/gore. Maybe one 1/2 cup  :teddyr:
