My mom and I will shop for a bit today before I buy her Chinese dinner.  I will also give her presents: CDs of Ricky Nelson and the Everly Brothers to put on her Ipod.

I had an awesome Mother's Day...
I stuffed my face with Boston Cream Pie and watched cheesy movies with Bela all day. Couldn't ask for anything more...

My mom actually got me interested in bad movies when I was very young (like 4 or 5 years old!)  We used to watch old horror and sci-fi movies together on Saturdays and Sundays.  In fact, I took her to the theater to see the original FRIDAY THE 13TH for some special occasion (I think it was either her birthday or Mother's Day).  The real reason was I wanted to see it, but it was rated R and I was too young to get in without her!  Now THAT'S love!

Aside from finding out my daughter is somehow allergic to potty training, I had a great Mother's Day weekend!  I hope everyone else's was good!
