Completely serious. Actually, they've had some of the most critically acclaimed albums of the past few decades.

Lyrically, they're spot on, and much better than anything the Stones have done since '81.

Critically acclaimed means  nothing to me,  critics  hated  everyone  from Elvis to  Black Sabbath.
