These guys have been going since 1964, they came knocking at my heart in 1972, I let them in and they haven't left yet.*

Now, finally, they're coming to South Africa and they'll be in Johannesburg on June 1 this year: I've been waiting almost forty years to see them live. 

* Despite the fact that their song PROCESSION scared the crap out of me when I was five.

Great band, seen them twice, Nights  In White Satin and  Just A Singer In A  Rock and Roll Band are two of mt favorites and of course the only band ever to honor  Tuesday  Afternoon, have fun.

I think THE MOODY BLUES had a few interesting records... I had Days Of Future Past on vinyl, and that comeback record 'round 1980 (but my copy skipped, like all new records 'round that time) whatever the hell it was called.  I liked 'em both but didn't listen to 'em much.

Why knock THE BEASTIE BOYS?  They're great.  I had and wish I still did "Cookie Puss" on 12" vinyl.  Loved that record.
