i live in wichita kansas, technically the biggest city in the state. BUT.... i live in the delano district, we consider ourselves a small town that the city just kinda...grew around.

Beaverton, OR.  Okay city (6th biggest in the state)-- all the amenities I could want within 5 miles.  I wish they were closer like I'd had in previous residences but it's better than being out in the boonies, which I could not tolerate.  Lots of Mexicans but they don't bother me.  Cops are d*cks around here.  Pretty good public transportation.
