Can't remember the name of a space sci-fi horror (early 2000's or late 90's)

I'm trying to remember a movie I watched back in the early 2000's. It was set in a spaceship in the future where a crew encounters an alien (?) that can take the form of crew members it kills (like The Thing). The crew has a dog that knows who's human and who isn't. I can't recall if I've seen any of the cast members anywhere else. I also remember a line that is something like "There's so much testosterone in the room it could make the women pregnant."
*Spoilers from memory to help find the movie.*
-There is a part in the movie where it's believed the dog dies, but he is okay in the end.
-One character (who was close to the dog) tries to kill the alien by electrocuting both of them (doesn't work)
-A male and female character are the only two (human) survivors

I'm 95% sure this is it. Do you happen to know where I could watch it without having to pay $30 for a VHS?
