I gotta Roku TV, and just piked up the Criterion Channel. In 2 days alone, I watched ISLAND OF LOST SOULS (1932), Hitchcock's SHADOW OF A DOUBT (1943), M (1931)- with Peter Lorre, the bizzare Japanese film HELL (1960), and SPACE AMOBEA (1970) aka YOG, MONSTER FROM SPACE! My new favorite channel!

Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)

Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

The lineup is great, for sure. I've never gotten it because I don't need ANOTHER subscription service (and I buy my fave Criterions on disc), but it's definitely one I would consider.

^ This one is not. It cost $10 and change a month. :bluesad:
Still I consider 10 bucks well worth it, being I'm pretty much homebound most of the time. I read, do housework, and watch TV.

I watched the insanely devestating war movie COME AND SEE (1985) this morning. It was in Polish, (I think?), but it has subtitles.

Russian. Best war film of all time, IMO.

That's spectacular. I have the physical Criterion edition of it.
