American actor Donald Gibb was best known for his iconic role as the hulking, beer-chugging fraternity brother Frederick "Ogre" Palowaski in the Revenge of the Nerds film franchise. He was also widely recognized for playing the tough, loyal fighter Ray Jackson alongside Jean-Claude Van Damme in the 1988 martial arts classic Bloodsport. RIP.

Ogre was one of my favorite characters.
