It would depend on what the situation at hand.  If I was at home or at some local bar that wasn't high class, I could probably just do with the BIC lighter.  If it was something more high end or more formal, then I would use a Zippo.

I myself have several Zippo lighters but they are just for collection and they are too pretty for me to want to use a real lighter, though I could probably just buy a regular not graphic type Zippo for that purpose.

If it's someone I'm friendly with (co-worker, friend, business associate), I always cup a hand around the flame, and light hers and mine at the same time. Promotes closeness, and kinda breaks down walls, too.

I would say that if I was at a party of some sort and a woman asked me for a light I would definitley whip out a zippo and light the cig like James Bond.  I would practice at home a couple of times though so I don't drop it or do something dangerously stupid like that.  The zippo also works well if you hear a really good song, even though a normal one is just fine in that case.
Barbeque sauce tastes good on EVERYTHING, even salad.

Yes, salad.

All of the above. It is not what you use, it is how you use it. You use the Paul Henreid method, Paul used in "Dark Voyage" to light both his and Bette Davis' cigarette. You light them both at the same time. Do this and women will come up to you and say: "Light me."
Just like they did to Paul after the movie came out.

Why not just use your laser vision?
