Just for the record, the NOT OF THIS EARTH "remake" is garbage not worth wasting time on.
The original NOT OF THIS EARTH is a favorite of mine; I have a not so great quality bootleg, but it's better than nothing! Now all I have to do is remember in July to come back and order!!!  Thanks, Bela.
Which remake, the terrible Traci Lords remake (1988) or the 1995 remake with Michael York?
Oh yeh, forgot about that last one, which I've not seen.  I was referring to the TRACI LORDS farce; of course, to be fair, it's been at least 20 years since I watched that one.

I PREFER the Traci Lords version believe it or not. I hope you don't despair further for my personal tastes Allhallows.  :teddyr:

What can I say? I like blondes and gawdy colours....  :tongueout:
z'Okay, z'okay.  Chris, you my Prince.  I can see the merits of that film from a certain perspective.  The original film has a unique tone that is indicental or accidental, but unmatched in '50s SciFi. The remake, to put it most euphemistically, is merely candy.
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!
