What Do You Mean, It Wasn't Made On Drugs?

Here's an interesting trope from TV tropes.  It is as it says.  There are some things that are just too crazy, insane, weird, or wild to make you think that people involved in the projects weren't high on something.  This can apply to basically any media from movies, TV shows, to even video games.

So, how many shows, movies, games, scenes from such and others can you think of that seemed like they were made while someone was on drugs, but really weren't.

I nominate 3 movies right off the bat for this since they are just too out there.  Cool World, Monkeybone, and Raggedy Ann and Andy: A Musical Adventure.  Those 3 are just insane and crazy.  A scene of a movie I would think of is the Helfalump scene from Winne the Pooh.  A video game that would work for this is Psychonauts.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Eraserhead springs to mind.

Sprung to mind for me too.  As I understand it Lynch is actually very anti-drug.  People sometimes assume anything surreal has to be inspired by LSD, despite the fact that the Surrealism movement arose 30 years before the discovery of LSD.

The Sid & Marty Kroft kid's stuff also springs to mind.  People joke that they were made by people on drugs, but I would guess that's accidental.

WILLY WONKA too: people find drug references there that I suspect were not put in on purpose.

Rev. Donald Wildmon famously thought that Mighty Mouse was snorting cocaine in an episode of THE NEW ADVENTURES OF MIGHTY MOUSE.  He got the show canceled.

How about the Sega Japan-only arcade game "I'm Sorry", where you play a buisinessman picking up gold while avoiding guys that look like insurance agents, Michael Jackson, Carl Lewis and other familiar faces.  When you get caught (lose a life) the enemy wears lingerie and sports a whip, while you are clad in a diaper, crying.  Eww...
