Need Help, movie title needed please

Dear Forum,

When I was much younger, I rented a horror movie from Blockbuster, back in the  mid 90s that I've been trying to find the name of.

The movie centers around this evil man/creature after this blonde girl. She along with her friends, are trapped in a department store and are being eliminated one by one. I remember one scene where a couple are killed by a fold up bed?  At the very end the only person left is the blonde teenage girl in which the evil man is walking towards her in the store or up/down an escalator.

Unfortunately those are not the movies. This movie came out in the 1990s and remember picking up the tape from blockbuster video.

Basically it's about a demon, or some evil being, after this blonde girl and slowly kills off her friends while they are trapped in a store. It's not chopping mall, the movie.   The last one left is the blonde lady and that's where the movie ends.

An IMDb keyword search for 'mall' films prior to 1999 suggested Phantom of the Mall: Eric's Revenge (1989), could it be this? I've never seen it but the trailer looks like it could fit your description.

I was going to say Eric's Revenge too. Does the guy live in the air vents?

And we're sure it's a department store?  Not a convenience store, like INTRUDER.
