Some may disagree but still holds up really well so many years later.

One of my Navy shipmates was an extra in this movie - he's one of the zombies outside the mall.
They used to show the movie on our ship a good bit, and every time his scene came up he'd get all excited.
"There I am!  Can you see me??"
We'd all be like: "YES, now SHUT UP and let us watch the movie!"

Of course today I can't remember which zombie he was . . .

I love DAWN OF THE DEAD and am watching it right now.  Again.  I watched it last night.  The greatest followup in Horror except BRIDE

I think this movie holds up very well and is one of my all time favourites.

Always loved the movie although I still cannot show it to my 7 year old (who seemed to like zombies because of minecraft)

Totally agree with the consensus about how well the film still holds up today. For me it is endlessly rewatchable and is easily my fave Romero movie although Night was the one that stated it all and most certainly has it's own place it movie history.

I can't imagine anyone thinking it doesn't hold up!  Crazy talk.   :teddyr:

Great film.

It does hold up very well, and I loved the 2004 remake as well!
