I just found out that her fave meal was, of all things, beetroot soup

Plenty of health benefits with beetroot. I like beetroot in jars and I like to drink the beetroot juice straight out the jar

No offense- but that sounds gross. Beet juice? I will drink pickle juice on occasion. Just to help me s**t. For the taste- no.
But I aint much of a soup guy. Homemade beef and barley or chicken and dumplings. Otherwise I only eat soup with a grill cheese samdwhich.

thanks to eating pickled beetroot from jars as a kid, I thought I knew what beetroot tasted like... then I found out the actual taste of beetroot 'au natural' as it were, is much different. I'm not really a fan
