Hey....was just wondering how Katie was holding up.

Is she ok?

I told my dad (her uncle) and he just couldn't believe it.

Katie's mom (Linda) just got married a couple of weeks ago at my dad's house and he told me that her boyfriend was there at the wedding with her.

Did he have curly hair.....cause my dad said she brought some guy with curly hair there with her.

I don't have her cell #...I used to but can't find it under the 5000 tons of papers I have here.

Have her call me please......she needs as much support as she can get......preferrably from family like me.

Yeah, the curly hair guy was probably him.  I only saw a picture of him once, but that sounds right.  Red hair and a beard of sorts.
Actually, I don't have her cell phone number.  I just e-mailed her tonight with a few more coherent thoughts and gave her my home phone.  When you first hear of something like this and talk to the person it happened to, you never know what to say other than "Uh...feel better.  I want to help" and you just feel like a moron.  I always like to be able to plan what I say so it sounds better and hopefully has more meaning to it.
