Daimajin

Anyone ever watch or like any of the 3 daimajin films? I haven't seen any of them yet but I hope to soon, I'm waiting for the tapes to arrive eventually. I recently won all 3 new through an auction. Giant stone monster attacks Japan...

I've only seen the first Daimajin.  I thought it was very good, though it took a LONG time to get to the Big Guy.  One of the better Non-Godzilla Giant Monster Movies

Thanks for the links I wanted to see some more pictures from the movies. Well after watching gappa the tribhian monster and pulgasari I'm sure the daimajin series could top those two least. I saw another film on a website called Orci the 8 headed monster which kind of looked interesting so I guess I'll hunt down that one next. Any other decent kaiju movies out there besides godzlla, gamera and the ones I've mentioned?

Well, GORGO, of corse. The new YONGARRY was a hoot! Realy weird ass, cries out to be Mistyed film.  Any Anime Kaiju? I don't know of any. mostly it seem to be mecha.

I have seen gorgo, reptillicus and a few others I'm forgetting about as I type this. Gappa is pretty much a rip off of gorgo (plot wise) done much worse but I guess it's worth it if you really like monster related movies.
