Krull ROCKED!!!

Regardless of what anyone says about KRULL... I thought it kicked some serious arse!

It's one of the best fantasy movies out there!  I highly recommend it!!!

I'm in agreement with you there.......I vaguely remember 8th grade--my Dungeons & Dragons days--man, that was about the best thing ever, next to Hawk the Slayer.....

The best thing about Krull that I recall was the scene where they run across the drawbridge, with the girl's fairy princess dress billowing out around her --
I remember going to this picture and expecting a lot from it -- perhaps too much.
It's not my place to cast aspersions on someone's fond memory of a flick -- especially on this site -- but I simply didn't "get " Krull.  I wanted it to be/thought it could have been so much more/so much better.
Oh, well . . .

I must agree with Shiloh and Will on this one. Not only is "Krull" one of my favorite fantasy films, it is one of my favorite films. See "My Favorite Movie" at this message board for further reasons why. Enjoy

All I have to say is that if the fires of love allow Colwyn to fry giant alien overlords and blow holes in the sides of granite fortresses, imagine what he's going to do to Lyssa when he gets her in bed!

And who doesn't love Ergo the Magnificent? -- "Short in stature, tall in power, narrow of purpose, and wide of vision."

Peter, I'm with you. I didn't "get" Krull either. Even as a 12 year old when this was 1st released, I thought it was such a mixed up film. But damn I wanted this to be so much more. Kinda like my feelings for Clash of the Titans.........
