We've tried it 2 or 3 times over the years but strangely, it never really went anywhere and quickly fizzled out.

I'm always open for a live chat feature...If only everyone else would participate regularly.

I am afraid that it has not worked out the last few times.  If we ever get a lot of interest in it, I could try (have to check the TOS for my hosting provider - some do not allow chat servers).

In general, we all tend to be on at different times.  I know that the Rogues do something interesting with live chats now and then.  Everybody gets the same movie, hits play at the same time, and they talk about it in real time via the chat.

Now that would be cool!
I'd definitely be down for something like that.   Thumbup

The movie idea sounds like a winner. Chatting while watching the same movie.
