Well, I know that they are making two feature length films this next year, maybe that will get you going and they are not zombie or hick films!

Like I said before, I dont think "Them Damn Zombies" was made to be anything more than a "GAG" for fun, it's a fun movie from that perspective, but if you're looking for a SUPER SERIOUS horror flick...then, well, that it is not!

The cursing, what would if have been like without it?  And how much cursing is the "CORRECT" amount...do curse words have "POWER"?  I never knew that...

HAHAHA! I'm making the first post and no one's stopping me! Anyway I like the title of the movie and everything else sounds bad,but if I see it at my video rental store I doubt i'll rent it.

Man that sounds like the people who made that had no idea what they were doing.  Geez it's sounds so bad I gotta watch it.

Bad acting. Bad writing. No plot. And you saw this twice, Andrew? You are a braver man then I.

Ok...I gotta say, if you watched "Them Damn Zombies" and thought the people who made it were nutz...well, you're 90% right!  It's a gag film...just for s**ts and giggle, of which there are plenty...and alot of stupidity, but wait, don't I see enough of that in my regular life?  The one thing I gotta say in defense of "TDZ" is that it had good spirit and never attempted to be anything more than what it is...a silly, stupid little movie that has some fun zombie B.S...s**t, I bought a copy...

I really hate movies with rednecks, thankfully this is a short feature with other characters, but still it was hell. The "writer" also seemed to feel the need to swear in every sentence, which really drags it down. Now I've been know to curse like a sailor myself, so it's not the swears themselves that bug me, it's the the senseless way they're used. They have no power in this movie.

Actually this movie features nothing at all for me. I did not find it a good gory or very entertaining. The short at the beginning could have been interesting if they had any sense of pacing, but they didn't so I just felt like tearing my eyes out instead.

On the plus side it's made me a lot harder on my own films.

Like any word, you really don't want to beat the audience to death with them. It doesn't really matter that they're swearing, what matters is that you're hearing the same song and dance over and over and over and over and over and over and... You really just stop caring because you know the extra 30 secs of swearing to each character's dialog must add up to be more than half the length of the movie.

Now Jay of Kevin Smith's Jay & Silent Bob fame has it down tight. Sure every sentence Jason Mewes says has color, but it's fresh color. He does not use the same vulgarities but a wide assortment and mixes'em up to create very funny dialog.

I know it's not a serious flix and is done by amatures, infact because of that I have not come down as hard as I feel that I should, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. It's not fun for me to watch something uncreativly TRYING to be bad. It's when you try to be good and fail that it's funny and not when you're trying to fail from the start.

I would NEVER see this movie. I saw the scene and it was so terrible. I would only watch it if you let me own the world.

ok, that movie looks stupid beyond belief. I have to watch it! :hot:

This actually sounds like prime fodder for my film club's next b-movie marathon. Nothing makes terrible movies fun like watching them with a group of fellow b-movie lovers who're becoming more and more over-caffeinated as the night goes on.
