My wife and I are celebrating 25 years of marriage today. Doesn't seem like it's been that long, but I can remember lot's stuff we've been through together. We have two great (and now grownup) children and we're learning to put up with each other again.

I consider myself a very lucky guy!

If you want to know the secret of a long marriage, in my case it's a very patient wife.  :teddyr:

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

Congrats!!

We had our ten year this year.  25 still seems like a LONG way off to me.

A very big congratulations Trek, that is great.  I think that your comment about a patient wife is one of those things a man hears and thinks, "Truth."

Katie and I reached our 10th this year and keep teasing each other about how it felt much longer.  How did you make 25?  Cryogenics?

25 years? Geez, that's a long time to have to put up with you. I've only had to put up with you for 2 years, only on the internet at that, and it's already wearing on me. :tongueout:

Congratulations on your success in marriage.

I've been informed that he is much sexier in person.  Just a sudden anonymous email from "Hot Blonde Trek Honey."

Believe me it passes faster the further you get along. It does seem like a long time looking at the events. We've lived in three states and counting the trailer we lived in for four months after we first got married we've had five different homes.

Then you think of things that make you stop and say, "That was a lifetime ago."

All I can say is it's been a helluva ride and I'm hoping for 25 more. (After all I'll only be 76 when it rolls around.)

And you thought Trek isn't cool.

I was just getting ready to eat. There went my appetite. :tongueout:

Congradulations Trek Geezer. A very important accomplishment for the both of you. Nice to hear about the longevity of marriage. May you have many more good years ahead.

My wife and I have been married 19 years living in the Atlantic City, NJ area for 18 of those years. The other one year we lived in Orange Park, Florida back in 1991. We have one daughter who's 18 and just started college this year.

That's great Trek!  Happy days and happy times all round!

Understanding, patience etc, it's all part and package to a great relationship, and I'm very happy for you that you've achieved such a significant milestone.

Same goes for the rest of you long-termers out there, congrats for all!

You all give me hope for the future!  :tongueout:

Congrats Trek (& Andrew).  For me, staying the night is a long term commitment.

Congratulations both of you.  I'm at a paltry 4 years come April.  But they are good ones!

A belated congratulations.

I've come extremely close to getting married a couple of times but it ended up not working out.

I'm not ruling it out in the future though.
