Can't remember the title

This came out fairly recently, maybe a year ago?  It had a fairly wide theatrical release and was universally panned by the critics.  One of the characters was a deaf girl, and other people told her their secrets, thinking she couldn't hear them.  There was also some sort of incestuous relationship between some girl (cheerleader?) and her father.

This one sounds like "The Quiet" with the deliciously yummy Elisha Cuthbert. Check out it's IMDB page HERE! I think this one is coming to DVD next month too.  :teddyr:

Yup, that's the one, thanks!  I was thinking it was about time for it to be coming out on DVD and I wanted to pick it up.

No prob. The critics bashed it from what I've seen and heard, but it's got a perty high rating over at IMDB. It sounds fairly interesting, so I'll at least give it a rent. Besides it's got my future 3rd wife Elisha..... sigh.... (<== just to explain, I recently had a joke  going with one of my friends that I was going to become a Mormon so that I can marry all the female celebrities that I lust over on a daily basis ;-) So far Gwen Stefani, Sandra Bullock, Elisha Cuthbert, Salma Hayek, Penelope Cruz, and Julie Strain are on my hit list. Sure some of they are married or involved, but I'm sure I can have their beaus knocked off by ninja assassins. "Oh yes, they will be mine!" ) :bouncegiggle:

Yeah, I was interested in it for the same reason exactly  :teddyr: Sounds steamy and sleazy - how can you go wrong?.   It's encouraging that the IMDb has a good rating for it, I was starting to wonder how bad it could be after hearing the critics raking it over the coals, but I guess I wouldn't be posting on a Bad Movies board if I agreed with the critics.  Amazon says it will be released on February 13.

Right on! Thanks for the heads up Jack! Sounds like it'll be a Valentine's Day film of choice for my girlfriend and I. LOL!
