80s action movie ... guy with a white mask

Here's what I remember:

It was a "Most Dangerous Game" type deal.  There were these bad guys, each with a signature weapon, hunting a guy and his younger sister.  One of the bad guys had a black "ninja" suit and a white mask, almost like a Harlequin mask.  This bad guy was killed by being impaled on either a tree stump (?!) or a sharp stick poked in the ground.  Something like that.

I think one of the other bad guys may have used a crossbow (it may have been the masked man).

Not from the 80s, 1993 to be exact, but the movie Death Ring comes to mind. In this, though, the girl is the hunted's fiance. It stars Chad McQueen, Billy Drago, Don Swayze, and Mike Norris; a.k.a. Who's your more famous relative.

It's been a while since I have seen it, so I don't remember if there was a hunter in a harlequin mask or not.

I think that this could be "Avenging Force," but it has been a long time since I watched that movie.  For some reason I remember the sort of elaborate mask you describe and am linking it to "Avenging Force."  If I have a VHS copy in my collection, I will pop it in the VCR tonight and try to verify. 

I have "Death Ring" for certain, so I will check that one too.  Maybe I am crossing the two movies in my mind and Menard is right.

Avenging Force is it, I think.  Although, now that you mention it, Menard, I saw Death Ring some time ago and liked it, too.

it is AVENGING FORCE with Michael Dudikof and Steve James.  The 2 guys from the American Ninja series.  This is a cannon movie (all cannon movies rock).
