DONT BE AFRAID OF THE DARK was a childhood favorite. They little creatures around the bed and stairs. Would like to see that one again some day.

I definitely wonder why we have not yet seen a DVD release of it.  Everyone I have ever talked to about the film remembers it being quite good and wished to watch it again.

Spawn of the Slithis is another one I'll nab if I ever see it...

QuoteThe Dark - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109551/
Huge killer gopher under  a graveyard.  Look for Neve Campbell's awful acting as a deputy.

The killer gopher isn't really bad though, actually.  Saw this on late night cable, it is enjoyable.  Favorite part is when the creature opens a coffin containing a still living main character (it eats corpses in the graveyard) and they both screen in shock.

Hah!  I had forgotten about that part, but your mention of it made the brain cell flash and I remember that being a well-done and amusing twist too.

I have a few others to try.

In some ways, a copy of "The Blob."  There is a fairly shocking scene of one person being eaten.

Sounds entertaining.  If I can find it I'll check it out.

Quote"Don't Be Afraid of the Dark" - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069992/
Woman targeted by tiny demons.

Sounds great.  Everyone on IMDB seems to love it, that's for sure.  I like the concept a lot.  Definetly grab a copy, if I can find it of course.

Quote"The Intruder Within" - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082565/
"Alien" on an oil platform.

The crazy independant video store by me (which stocks Rapeman 1 and 2, believe it or not) has this one on VHS.  I'd thought of renting it before, next time I head up there I'll grab it.

Quote"Queen of Blood" - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0060877/
Female (alien) survivor starts munching the crew of a spaceship.

John Saxon, Forrest Ackerman, Dennis Hopper and Basil Rathbone in a Roger Corman production?  I'm there...

Orca the Killer Whale and Mosquito I've seen.  Mosquito (assuming you mean the one with Gunnar Hansen in it) is actually pretty entertaining.  Awful film of course, but amusing in its little way.

Pinata I've seen some of.  It has the most laughable monster I've seen in a movie, pretty much ever.  Which is impressive considering some of the crap from the 50s and early 60s.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys!

Nobody said that Corman gem:
Humanoids From the Deep!
Either the '70's original, or the '90's remake -- Actually, in many ways, I preferred the remake:  Better acting, better monsters, etc.
Anyay, chock fulla monsters that are really gross and scary looking --
And, as you say, with Corman you can't go wrong --

I have no idea what this means.

I've seen the original, but not the remake.  Did they change the creature design much?
