Crashes through the roof, bounces off the floor, and embeds itself in a wall. That's it, between this and the bit about the UFO in Chicago, I am worried. I already have the heavy duty aluminum foil, you will find me tonight in my basement, making a hat to prevent the aliens from reading my thoughts.

Actually, sounds like a meteorite. Glad that the strike only resulted in property damage:

My guess is a gold sphere fell into the dwarf-making machine on the red planet, not having any real disposal modules they just chucked it away and here it is.

That sounds like the beginnings to a Lovecraft story.

If the plant life suddenly grows to odd and giant proportions or the inhabitants start glowing silver, it's time to pack up and sell.

Would really like to find out what that rock came from. On the news today they said a Russian rocket re-entered the atmosphere after launching something for France. It was quite a sight. It should be on the news again all day today.

Last time we had a Russian space debris cross our skies here in the states 911 happened within 10 days of the sign in the sky. Makes you wonder.

In case everyone didn't know Andrews Grovers Mill, NJ comment was based on the location of WAR OF THE WORLDS landing.

Actually,things have been mysteriously falling out of the skies for centuries .There have been reports of rains of frogs ,fish,stones,shreeded meat, coins(!),green peachs,huge blocks of ice,unidentified globs of jelly,catippillars,and all sorts of odd things.Oddly enough,nothing else seems to fall with them(such as dirt,sticks,debris).

Yea, RCMerchant is correct. I have a book called THE BOOK OF THE DAMNED written by Charles Fort of Albany, NY about a century ago I believe. In the book he writes of real phenomoneon like raining frogs, fish, blood, ect.. He is also the inspiration for THE FORTEAN TIMES magazine.

Wow.I actually typed in a refernce to Charles Fort in my post,but I decided not to.I have his book WILD TALENTS.I have yet to read BOOK of the DAMNED or LO! yet.
