Favorite Star Trek Character

To avoid making this list insanely long, I decided to leave out Star Trek Voyager, DS9 and Enterprise characters.
Instead, I decided to focus on Star Trek TOS and TNG characters.
I'll get to those other shows later in another thread.

I set this poll so everyone has a maximum of 3 votes.
You may vote for your top 3 favorites.
I urge you to consider secondary characters...it'd be a lame poll if everyone voted for just Kirk & Picard.

I chose Picard, Data and Q.
Picard is my all time favorite.
Worf and Kirk are close runners up.

Not a big Star Trek fan,but I voted Kirk,cuz I like William Shatner.And the dinosaur type alien he fights using sticks and rocks is cool too.Also like the aliens with big squishy heads that make people fight. Mostly I like the cool looking aliens from the old series.And the music.

Close tie between Picard and Worf.   Picard for Stewart's acting chops.   Worf for the gleam of humor in his eye and the relish with which he delivers his lines (and the practical jokes I've heard that Michael Dorn is known for.)

The logical pick for me would be Spock.     But there's more, but it's not on your list...The Tribbles..

I chose the big three from TOS. This was some remarkable luck in casting. Spock, Kirk, and McCoy are icons.

From the more modern shows my favorites are Worf and Sisko. Worf was most anal retentive of all the Klingons, he had so idealized his people that none of them could ever live up to his expectations.  Sisko was a rule breaker like Kirk and he acted like a real human being with all the foibles we possess. He had prejudices, he got angry, and wasn't above going to extremes to get the job done.  He was also the only human that intimidated Worf.

I chose Scotty (just because he's the guy that really got things done on the old Enterprise), Worf (just because I saw Michael Dorn at the only Star Trek convention I ever went to and ended up with an autographed Worf trading card, so what the heck) and Dr. Crusher (just because she's a babe with brains and wisdom).

Worf, B. Crusher, Data, Picard and of course Bones McCoy (it really was a toss-up for me to choose between Scotty and McCoy).  Odo, Sulu and Jeffrey Combs' Weyoun (man, what a creepy guy...see avatar) get honorable mentions, too.

   You reminded me of this..I saw William Shatner at a fair in, get this, Boise,Idaho. I lived there for a couple of years. It was strange because I remember him in the series, he had blonde hair, and at the fair it was black. I think this was around 1968.

I went with Picard, Worf and Data, although my all time favorite is a DS9 character. I'll cast that vote when the appropriate poll comes along.

I would have to pick Mr. Scott and Chief O'Brien, they were the two characters who seemed to do more than just push buttons to get things done.
My first pick though would be Lt. Uhura because just as Star Trek hit the TV I had just become aware that the female of the species had some major differences from us males and to me she was a vision in a red micro-mini uniform.
