THE TRESURE OF TAYOPA (1974) - This films starts out with Gilbert Roland doing on screen narration about this treasure. Then we have a bunch of nobody actors/actress on a trek to find lost mission gold in Mexico. The leader of the expidition is a tough woman and things start to go wrong because of a stupid guy named Sally. They encounter what appear to be banditos along the way. Upon finding the gold things turn worst than Sally's earlier encounter with the banditos. The movie ends tragically for all the members and after some time the audience is spared any more suffering. The only redeeming parts of this film are the music and Gilbert Roland who I have learned about through Spaghetti Westerns like ANY GUN CAN PLAY  and BETWEEN GOD, THE DEVIL, AND A WINCHESTER. This clunker was part of the Drive-In 50 pack from Mill Creek Entertainment.
