Yeah, that's a possibility. Anyway, at least this shows us how wrong all those sci-fi writers (except those from "Futurama" if your prophecy comes true) were about our "first contact".

im with RC though i mean really, that p**sed me off cause i like all that cryptozoology/anomaly s**t and they actually FOUND some wierd creature in the flesh some scientist could have studied. id rather read about that than the death of anna nicole smith.

Why'd they eat it rather than turn it over to scientists or the proper authorities (do they have those in super corrupt Russia)?

Um, the "alien" is just a skate (a relative of rays and sharks). They show the underside, which we don't see often, but it's a skate. The "eyes" are actually its nostrils. There's nothing mysterious or otherworldy to it. No reason for outrage. Everyone, find your happy place... :smile: ...Ooooooohm, Ooooooooohm, Oooooooohm. Come on, let's meditate...
