The top one is AWXSOME, man. It really says "Cletus Kasedy" to me. As for The bottom one, i think the eye is too much. Everything else is really well done.

Is that supposed to be red weeds growing out of him or is it an alien symbiote like Venom?

Maybe make his eyes glow a light yellow.  That'd look cool.

Honest oppinion:

The first one looks decent. Theres a weird white blotch on the hand, and the shadows are a bit off, but it looks pretty good. The only difference between the first one, and the second one (as far as i can see) is that the arm is brighter, and theres a white blotch on the eye now. The eye looks completely off, you must delete this at once. It looks very amateurish, i'm sorry to say (only the eye thingy).

thats what i figured, if you look though its not just a white blotch on his eye its actually the carnage face the white part is just more prominent. im still tweaking it i just wanted to see what you guys thought of the face.

i beveled the symbiote arm layer i thought it was a bit much am i going to change it, it just looked a little flat but yes, i think its too much also.
