I was just watch a Simpson's episode.  Homer was kidnapped and put on an island of very smart people.  When he escaped, he was chased by a balloon.  I have an Iron Maiden video "Fugitive" that has the escape sequence.  There is a line that goes like this; "I am not a number, I am a man".  Any ideals about the movie?  There is a Sean Claude movie that also hints to this.  He was a secret agent that was sent to an island that had a bunch of smart agents.

Take Care,

John

Do you mean what movie or television show they were trying to parody?  My first reaction would be "The Prisoner" TV series.

Like Andrew pointed out that Simpsons epsiode is parody of the Prisoner tv show. The line "I'm not a number I am a man"is directly from the show. As well as that Orb that chases them and Homer pops it

Nah, make it another "Prisoner Chat" thread!!
Patrick McGoohan, the star & creator of "The Prisoner" did his own voice for the Simpsons episode, and gave ideas to the cartoon parody team -- He basically "took the p**s out of", ie, made fun of, his own creation.
If this blatant Prisoner parody has anything to do with Iron Maiden, it's probably that the members of Iron Maiden were/are Prisoner fans as well -- hardly surprising, given their Brit-background.

I have no idea what this means.

McGoohan has a sence of humor, no doubt about it.
Good show.
