Though he'll never read this, happy birthday tomorrow to my dad, the person I admire most in the world, the man who kept me from screwing my life up at sixteen, who made me eat during my hunger strikes, who taught me how to ride a bike at four, who never let me win an unearned game of basketball, Trivial Pursuit, or chess, who always came home safely when his dangerous work took him far away, who rooted for me in my tennis matches, and who always, always, always had my back, even when I didn't know he did and even when I might have said I didn't need him to. Thanks for sixty-two years of making the world a better, safer place, Dad. I love you dearly.

In the UK nips are short for nipples. The flavour isn't the only thing that has me wondering. :P You weren't drinking in a bar in Amsterdam were you? I remember a place where the waitresses let you drink shots off their body. I am not even going to start thinking of the hygine problems there.

Speaking of, I never understood how people could drink shots out of other people's navels. The idea makes me wanna hurl. (Not that that has anything to do with zombie's birthday vodka nips, just sayin', friends 'n neighbors...)
