What a way to get out of dealing with Diamond Dave.

Besides how many times has he been to rehab already/ If he's serious, I wish him the best. If this is just a smoke screen the way so many famous people use it these days, then my opunion of him drops even more.

Rough photo indeed, but is he posing or did they just use the worst image they had. Is he missing teeth?

Looks like some homeless guy I've seen. Their website has nothing more than a letter from Ed on it, VH was going to tour this year with Diamond Dave (which oddly is what I've been called since prior to VH or DD being a band) I was thinking of going to it but now the tour is on hold I guess as the website is for the most part down except for 1 page. they date have the dates posted, now no more.

Plus Keith has been eroding in the public eye for decades, we've had time to get used to how rough he looks. IMO he look only marginly worse than he did on say the cover of his 1988 solo album, and that cover photo is certainly retouched.

Except for diehard fans and people like guitar magazine readers, Eddie has been out of the public eye compared to "Keif" in recent years when not promoting a project or the "reunion" at the MTV awards many years ago. He had one hip replacement, fought cancer twice (wonder if this has something to do with the missing teeth), still smokes, has sought treatment for alcohol abuse. All that was bound to catch up with him and effect his appearance eventually.

Edit since I was too lazy to use spell check last time.

Keith Richards is proof positive that too much smoking, drinking, drugs, sex and rock-n-roll will not kill you. OK it's doesn't make you the the prettiest guy in the world, but it doesn't kill you at least not as fast as they'd have you believe.

I consider Keith the except, not the rule. We could name off the usual suspects and dearly departed, but the big names are known anyway.

Yup, Janice, Jimmi, Jim, Keith Moon (among many others) all died due to drugs/booze. I wonder if somehow the extra years from their normal lifespans got tacked onto Keith Richards, so that he could live out a normal lifespan despite his "habits'"

BTW, one rumor I heard was that Eddie was into Crystal Meth -- which really does f'up your looks & rots teeth.
