I remember when they had to forklift Yokozuna out of arena.
Vader broke Yokozuna's shin or something. I think mid 90's?

I've read rumors about Sid making a come back... that would be so cool! Smile

Plan is to have a few old-timers around in some capacity for the next two months or so.

Potentially longer since Raw is now gonna be 3-hours permanently. Heard about talks with Flair, Sid, HBK.

Foley has a legends deal, as do both J.R. and Austin, I believe.

A little tribute to the WWE, 2001 or so.  Personally my favorite year they had, although that '97-'02 run was great.

Stone Cold.  My favorite wrestler of all time.  How WCW screwed up with this one, and held him back boggles my mind.  Worse, he went to ECW and it's like nobody at the WWE saw that he had personality and an ability to speak.  So he was "The Ringmaster" and DiBiase was his mouthpiece.  Luckily they allowed him to be himself.

I'm more a fan of 80s wrestling myself. Hated to see kayfabe go but I guess it was inevitable. I know I posted these before but these help illustrate IMO just how cool the 80s were:

And here's another cool video tribute with cool footage from several decades with WWF and NWA and AWA world champs... well cool aside from the choice of music...

I only know a little of the '80 stuff. Started watching at 3 or 4, around '87 or '88.

So I kinda grew up with the New Generation and Attitude eras.

ECW was my favorite promotion.

Mid to late 90's ECW = Incredible. I was at few live ECW events back in the day. Wink

ECW, in '95, '96, '97 was incredible. Could argue '94 as well, with Raven, Funk, Cactus Jack, Dreamer, Benoit, Malenko, Jericho, Pitbulls, Guerrero, and the cruiserweights.

I still watched it from '98-'01. Most mainstream fans, though, only watched it after WWF took off with Austin and 'borrowing' the adult concepts and hardcore wrestling and thought of ECW as the imitation.

ECW still had good workers at the end: Little Guido, Tajiri, Super Crazy, CW Anderson, Lance Storm, Whipwreck, and Simon Diamond amongst others.

LOL. My Uncle Jim looks like a clone of Little Guido...

Anyway. I'm going crazy to research this maybe you remember?
Who was the blonde guy with the cast on his leg or foot? Late 90's early 2000-3?
Wheelchair maybe? He was at a live event, I was there. Nova beat him up. Any clue?

Not Shane Douglas. This guy was out of shape and alot taller...

Jack Victory was hanging with Steve Corino for a bit.

Can't remember if they split at some point.

I don't recall an RVD/Foley bout.

Did they cross paths in TNA? I haven't followed TNA closely but know both were there.
