Children of the Corn in the one where all the adults are arrested, leaving only the kids in town.  It has Cartman threatening a woman and screaming for the "Outlander" to show himself...

"The M Word" also has some Star Trek (Miri?) and Beyond Thuderdome stuff going on in it. I love that one, because it's like a Simpson's episode, the way it starts off like it's going to be abou the Raging Pussies concert and bringing democracy to Cuba, then goes a totally different way.

In the one where Cartman's hand thinks it's Jennifer Lopez, after the hand reveals it's true identity and prepares to die, it asks "Will I dream?" I think that's from HAL in 2010.

I believe Trapper Keeper was refrencing AKIRA.

Not necessarily "obscure," but last night they reran the Homelessness episode of South Park.  Pretty much the entire episode was a parody of movies like Dawn of the Dead, except the zombies were replaced with homeless people, and they wanted "Change" instead of "Brains'.

Hilarious.
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.

The homeless one was a combination actually...the whole thing with the mall rooftop and the bus was Dawn of The Dead, but remember the whole surviving on brains idea was from Return of The Living Dead.  The Dawn of The Dead zombies ate every part of you.  I also think the one guy's burned wife was kind of a take on the "tar man" from ROTLD.

That made me laugh.  She's locked up in the basement.   :teddyr:

Not forgetting the fact that they chant "chaaaange..." as a refrence to RotLD's "braaaiiiins..."

HappyGilmore

I love RoTLD.  Fun movie.  Wasn't too crazy on part 3 though.

The boy band episode has a small reference to Star Trek: Generations in it.

The one that made me laugh out loud was in the "Jewbilee" episode, when Moses appears as the Master Control Program from Tron.

in MechaStresand they use a couple monster movie refs (Barbara Steisand as MechaGodzilla, Sidney poitier as Gamara,Robert Smith as Mothra,Leonard Maltin as UltraMan)

also in a episode Cartman plays Wild Wild West with his toy frog and Polly Prissypants was Salma Hayek.

in another episode where the boys start discovering boobs on girls, Cartman takes Bebe to his basement where those a huge hole in the ground and they play "lambs" as in Silence of the Lambs.

i watch way too much South Park.

When I first saw this episode years ago I didn't understand how Moses came to be like that.  I watched Tron a few weeks ago and then watched this episode last week, and now I get the referennce.

I think there are some The Lawnmower Man references in there too.  It's been a while since I've seen the episode and Lawnmower Man so I'll have to watch both again and see.  I could be wrong about it.

wasn't the 'golden PSP' episode doing LOTR, and the imaginationland trilogy recently parodies stargate among many others

special mention goes too cartmans 'matrix revolve' in the movie
if we can hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards.........checkmate!!

The Trapper Keeper episode was a definite reference to Terminator also.
