Bigfoot vs Zombies (2014)

Would you believe the cover was better than the film? I thought this would be absurd enough to help me stay awake this morning and I wasn't disappointed. It barely had two stars and the Amazon rental page didn't include any actors or producers so you can imagine my surprise when "... and Polonia Bros. Studios" appeared on-screen with the joint production companies. This is already going to have that extra something. Immediately cut to a man in a gorilla suit. Oh yes, that extra something.

About the best thing that could be said about this movie, bringing into consideration the work that the Polonias have produced from the 1990's to today, is that it isn't shot on video. This very easily could have worked as a straight-up zombie movie; there just happens to be a Bigfoot. Lousy make-up, terrible dialogue, bland synth music, visible cameramen, all the Polonia trademarks are on display here and despite it all I was laughing all the way through by how so-bad-it's-awesome the movie was. There's ham to go around and it seems like much fun was had. It makes me kind of happy that something like this can make it onto digital listings.

And if you insist on only the very best, there are also fart jokes.

Found these at a barn sale yesterday, sitting with boxes of non-descript movies (which I of course went through one-by-one).  I am still grinning.  :teddyr:

I've got the John Carpenter Thing, but I've never seen the original in spite of the trailer being on one of my favorite VHS, Monster Mania

This one's mainly for Maximum Overdrive, but couldn't turn down some Arnie
