Planet Terror: Amazingly fun and simply awesome gore! Can't wait till Machete.

I didn't think that a MACHETE movie is in the works...is it?
i thought that the trailer was just a p**s-take on the old expliotaion movie trailers. It would be GREAT if it was to be...!
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."

Sounds like it's in limbo, but I think it'll become a finished film.

Killer Bees

Law and Order Criminal Intent Season 2 box set.  Had a wonderful weekend of Vincent

Bark! Lisa Kudrow, Vincent (again) and others.  Never heard of this movie and haven't watched it yet, but it sounds pretty funny

Porkys/Bachelor Part double set.  I've seen both these before but not for a long time.

Orgazmo.  Very funny Parker/Stone movie.  I'd only seen the first couple of scenes a long time ago so I wasn't sure if I'd really enjoy the whole movie.  But for $7.00 I couldn't go wrong.  Now it's one of my favourite silly comedies.
Flower, gleam and glow

Heal what has been hurt
Change the fates' design

Bring back what once was mine
What once was mine.......

Picked up a couple of VHS tapes:

Dead Weekend - an alien babe comes to Earth, and some bunch of bumbling nincompoops called the True World Forces, who apparently run, I dunno...the world?  Decide she must be killed.  They evacuate the city (insert stock footage of crowded freeway to signify evacuation), then send about two guys to look for her.  But mostly they just hang around a strip joint.  I'm exaggerating, they actually send about 6 or 8 guys to look for her.  Anyhow, Stephen Baldwin does his usual "I'm bored as hell, can I go home now?" job of acting, falling in love with the alien babe.  She changes into a different sexy babe every ten minutes or so.  Supposedly it's the same girl, only her appearance changes.  Except her accent changes, her attitude and personality changes, eh.  I don't think they tried too hard there.  Anyhow, she's sexy - and occasionally topless - in just about every form she takes.

Roller Blade - imagine the goofiest post-apocalyptic piece of low budget trash from the '80s that you can.  Now imagine something twice as stupid.  Okay, you're on the right track.  Chicks in silly nun's outfits, or maybe sexy spandex outfits, or maybe just thongs, roller skate around a post-apocalyptic city.  They fight people, sometimes each other.  I wasn't really paying attention to if it had any plot.  Paying attention probably isn't recommended.
The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.

Kooshmeister

Splurged at Wal-Mart and got:

The Transformers: The Movie: 20th Anniversary Edition
Labyrinth
Die Hard With a Vengeance
Stand By Me
Rush Hour 2
Family Guy: Blue Harvest

I also got Independence Day, but returned that after getting home and discovering I got gypped. The box advertises inclusion of both the theatrical version and an extended cut, widescreen format, and two audio commentaries; the actual disc contained inside is bare bones, fullscreen, and just the theatrical version. I was extremely peeved.

Do you know about those Mill Creek 50 movie packs? They come in all sorts of (loose) genre collections like horror, mystery, comedy, sci-fi, adventure, westerns, etc. You can find them for about $20 bucks, even cheaper if they're used. I always discover several low-budget gems in these.
If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.
