King Kong 2-Disc Special Edition (yes, I finally broke down and got it....)
-----

The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra (Ditto.)
-----

Big Trouble in Little China (If for nothing else, for the commentary by Carpenter and Russell!)

Death Bed: The Bed That Eats (Yes, as bad as they say - I HAD to have it!)
-----

Forrest Gump (So?  I like sentimental Oscar fodder - at least it isn't that Benjamin Button crap.)

I just caught Monster A Go Go in today's mail, but as for the movies I bought recently...

Eight Legged Freaks (I record the movie earlier onto a blank VHS tape and used that to do my review)
Silent Hill

and something I couldn't believe that I found and I wanted.  I think it'll be the end of me all over again like when I bought Jaws: The Revenge... the movie I bought was...

I don't know about anyone else, but I can sit down and watch trailers for hours. So I grabbed this from Best Buy when I was in there, dreaming of buying volume 2 of Friday the 13th: The Series.

And, yes, that IS Robbie Benson dead center with the gee-tar.

I picked up a couple of Grindhouse double-feature DVDs yesterday. this is my first entrance into the world of grindhouse movies other than seeing a few trailers on youtube and of course 'DEATH PROOF/PLANET TERROR which don't really count. havent watched them yet, cant wait though. hopefully they're rather bad.

Well, the masterful script and superb acting, of course.  Hopefully the dialogue will actually be synched with the video on the DVD.   :teddyr:

Just got my Journey to the Center of the Earth DVD - you've got to love the Asylum.  The DVD begins with trailers for other movies.  The first one has the volume cranked up so freakin' loud that it will instantly send you scrambling for the remote.  I mean, it's TWICE as loud as the volume level on the actual movie.

Gee thanks guys - I was wondering how much my new speakers could take before the woofers actually exploded right out of the cabinets.

I just got this cool video at a pawn store for $1.50.  It's VHS format, but this was still an awesome find for me.

It's good to have an understanding wife - for Valentine's Day I got two classic bad flicks (one of them was a two-in-one, so actually I go three!  Yay!) that have the colorized AND black-and-white versions...one of them, though, is a special case....
