MALPERTUIS

I know nothing about it except it was directed by the guy who did DAUGHTERS OF DARKNESS and features Orson Welles, and this quote: "imagine a Hammer movie co-directed by Jean Cocteau and Raul Ruise and your getting warm."

Seen this one before, kind of liked it:

KYGOTC posted a Youtube video of this the other day, it piqued my interest:

The only review I could find says it's horrible, but it's hot babes running around a dorm in their undies - I ask you, how could that POSSIBLY be anything but great?

Ordered Horrorlicious.

I also received a notice today that my copy of Four Flies on Grey Velvet will not be coming, and that I have been refunded.  I was thankful for the refund, but I still gave the company a bad rating for not notifying me sooner.  I could have special ordered it from Hastings faster, but the price probably would have been jacked up.  So, I reordered FFoGV.

Now, it looks like the same thing may happen with Stendhal Syndrome.  It was supposed to be here today and it still hasn't arrived.

Update:

I went back to check up on that seller.  It was DVD Legacy who sold me FFoGV, and it turns out they're also the ones selling me Stendhal Syndrome.  Apparently, I'm not the only one they've been boning.  In the last month their feedback has been 52% negative, and almost all of them rant about not getting their products.  I'm pretty sure the same will happen with SS, and I'll have to reorder it.  Bleh.  It makes me wonder what the hell is going on with DVD Legacy.  They used to be a decent seller.

She should be ashamed of herself, or I should be ashamed of myself?  I'm just there for the movies. Fred's wife is pretty, but who needs her?

And I picked this thing up out of the VHS shelves of my local Goodwill store. Some goof dumped it there even though it is a 3-DVD set. For less than 4 bucks!!

Ever get the feeling this thread is a bit like junior high school - when you and your buddies would try to gross each other out by showing each other mouthfulls of half chewed food?

Nah, me neither.

If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

I've been doing some buying of movies recently (Again for movie reviews), but I did believe I picked out some winners and clear losers.

Poltergeist: A clear winner for a good movie.  I've never seen it so I do hope what I'll see will be good and scary.

The Stepford Wives (Remake): Interestingly to note, the first time I've watched this film, I liked it.  Something must be wrong with me huh?  Anyways, after enough time as past, I'll check it out later.

Deep Blue Sea: I've heard this was a bad movie.  Really bad.  I've heard people say around here that it is worst than Jaws: The Revenge.  OH boy....

Evolution: It stars that guy from the X-Files and it was made by the makers of Ghostbusters.  I remember hearing about this film a while back, but it sort of fell into the back of my mind since then.  Now, I guess I get to see if it is good or not.  Seems like it should be good, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.
