"Action-Refraction" by Ben Allison.  New album of 6 covers and 1 original.  It's more instrumental prog-rock than jazz, very heavily composed with little improvisation.  I'm loving it so far.  Who would have thought the Carpenter's "We've Only Just Begun" would ever sound cool?

You can stream it, at least for now, on Allison's homepage: http://benallison.com/music/

"Glamour" & "Outerlimits" by Show-Ya, a very awesome all-female Japanese AOR/hard rock band.
