I like all these songs, but a mixed bag for me.  Someone 30 years ago or maybe not quite went into my records and scratched them with a double-pronged something or other   - including my special edition with poster 45 "Message In A Bottle" ... my B52s first album, POLICE albums... it's family sh!t that still hurts and I can't know for sure who it was, but I recently realized I still love THE POLICE.  I had totally layed off them at that time, and I'd even seen them in concert (at the then-called BRENDAN BYRNE ARENA) back in the early '80s.

Who is JEFF PARIS?  Tell me!!

He was a multi-instrumentalist AOR singer/songwriter who put out two cracking upbeat albums in the 1980s called "Race To Paradise" and "Wired Up" and another two mellower, stripped-down efforts in the 1990s. He's written songs with/for; Vixen, Peter Criss, Impellitteri, Night Ranger, Robin Beck, KISS, Stan Bush and Bret Walker. His cds are very hard to find in this country and go for big money. I used to have all his albums on cd, but my ex burnt them, so now I only have the vinyl.
