A Hundred Highways by Johnny Cash

Time Flies: The Best of by Huey Lewis and The News.
"The path to Heaven runs through miles of clouded Hell."

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide.

Love THE SUNDAYS... especially their first album... y'all inspired me, now listening to the lovely album Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic... which to me, is Christmas music.
To paraphrase a bit from one of my own personal favorite albums: "...And did you know desire's a terrible thing?  The worst that I can find...!  It's my life...!  It's my life!"
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

"There is no way out of here. It'll be dark soon. There is no way out of here."

I karma'd you right back, Voltron.  Agreed, How I Loved You is their best, though my favorite song is the chilling My Sister Said from "Sings Other People."  I got into Gira with Angels, haven't heard much Swans (except the so-so "The Burning World").

The Burning World is probably the weakest Swans album, IMO. Even Gira hates it. You should definately check out Love Of Life. It's their best melodic album by far. I haven't heard Sings Other People, but I did hear Gira's solo album I Am Singing To You From My Room which has the awesome "My Sister Said".
"Nothin' out there but God's little creatures - more scared of you than you are of them"  - Warren, "Just Before Dawn"

Rev. Powell

Baxter (son of Ian) Dury - Len Parrot's Memorial Lift

Hazy Neo-Psychedelic rock from 2002 - "Fungus Hedge" sample

WWE Anthology- 3 disc set featuring the themes of WWE wrestlers.  Today: The Attitude Era.

The Very Best of KISS- Unfortunately, they included the song that Michael Bolton wrote.  Eh, the rest of it is good though.

It's really  a shame that The Sundays only released 3 albums.  I just replace my copy of Static and Noise over the weekend as my old copy was skipping due to scratches.

Harriet Wheeler has one of the most beautiful and gentle, soothing singing voices that I've ever heard.  And I thought that she looked as pretty as her voice sounded.

I don't have their last album, but based upon the strength of the other two, I should pick up a copy.

Now listening to A Big Band Christmas
