Wanna check out some old unique jams...I just rediscovered the REMAINS...heres a clip of them on Ed Sullivan...simply amazing!!!!
I love the go go chicks trying to keep up aan keep track of the various chord changes!  :teddyr:
A bit reminiscent of THE KINKS, can't help but love that groovey red-headed chick rightside in go-go boots.
I have two of THE SONICS songs on the NUGGETS collection.  PM me your email and I'll send them to you when I upload them (if I haven't already...)   :drink:

Torgo, I have both of the WILBURYS albums, but never realized they reissued them as a double (like in the old days they repackaged albums as two-fors).  Still listening to SPOONFUL, boy that JOHN SEBASTIAN gets hackneyed... I finally understand the whole hippy hating thing (being of that later generation, my attitude has always been and remains: hippies are the model for us punks).  However, JOHN SEBASTIAN puts the dippy in Hippy Dippy...  :teddyr:

It's my own personal opinion that the overly trusting and  naivevity of the original 'hippies' let a big door open for the expliotation, and ultimitly the downfall, of all they stood for. Manson,Altamont,Detroit...all led to  punk.

Any way...heres the FLAMIN' GROOVIES..circa 1972...

Tom Waits - Rain Dogs (Sample - Rain Dogs)

Vermeer Quartet - BARTOK String Quartets (Sample: No 1 in A-minor)

This performance was poorly reviewed (though I love the music), so I may look for a better recording.
