I've never been a huge Iron Maiden fan, but I've always adored the awxsome artwork thats on the covers of all their albums.

The artist responsible for all of their album and singles artwork up until 1992's Fear of the Dark was a guy named Derrick Riggs.   I agree with you that his artwork is truly amazing and original.

Ah, Maiden.  Never got into any other metal, but I listened to Maiden almost constantly my last couple of years of high school, alternating with Marillion.

Um, that ain't metal.  It's Richard Band's synthesizer score for the movie about giant robots.
